Wonderful brown mushroom, or cartwheel hat circa late 1940s or early 1950s. I’m unsure of exactly what the material is, but it seems like a nubby silk barkcloth, if you can imagine that. Balances on the head with a stiff cap underneath. Then there is a wide brim going out form the cap, and then on top of that is a second layer, more loose and full, of the same fabric. All combined it gives a lovely appearance if a really full mushroom. There is wire in the brim so it can be shaped however you like. Measures approx. 13″ across the diameter at the widest, and the cap inside is a bit over 19″ around, but as its meant to balance more on the top of the crown its one size fits all more or less. It looks like there was a designer label at one point but its sadly gone.
Excellent vintage condition. No issues to note at all really, other than perhaps a bit of bending to the middle layer underneath. Doesn’t affect the shape of the hat at all.

Returns
Due to multiple entities, including the factory and the warehouse, we are unable to fully manage stock. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It's possible that the stock may run out after the order has been made.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. If you haven't received your item within 30 days, we're unable to offer either a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund your item must be in good condition and in the same condition as you received it in. It must also be returned in the original packaging.
