Jaw dropping-ly beautiful linen Edwardian skirt and waistcoat ( vest) circa 1900s to 1910s. Classic, clean lines and simply tailored. The skirt features two pockets at about thigh level and has strong snaps and hook and eye closures. The waistcoat is meant to go over a blouse ( think a clean white cotton lawn long sleeved blouse with puffed sleeves, perfect!) It has lace holes but whatever lace or ribbon went with it originally is missing, alas. However, you can add anything you like there, from silk ribbon to leather cord and everything in between. The back has a half belt which is missing whatever buttons or closures it had but again, easy to add whatever suits you best, or if you like I can just stitch it together and add a couple decorative buttons, just let me know. Bear in mind if you want me to do so it’s my choice of buttons based on what I have here. It is small of course, but not impossibly so like so many other dresses of this age. No labels but I was told from the woman I got it from that it worn by a great ancestor of hers in the midwest in the summer at college.
Excellent vintage condition. Apart from the missing lace and vest closures as outlined above this is really in quote mint condition and very very wearable. I did spot one small area of very faint beige smudges on the skirt but as this is beige anyway they are not noticeable.
Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at bust and waist.
Waistcoat
Armpit to armpit across bust: 35″ if laced fully, but this can be adjusted a bit of course.
Waist: 29″ again, adjustable to a degree with the lacing and half belt behind
Shoulder to waist: 14″ at the side, in front a bit longer, in back a bit shorter.
Skirt
Waist: 25″
Hip: free up to about 35″
Waist to bottom hem: 42″

Returns
Due to multiple entities, including the factory and the warehouse, we are unable to fully manage stock. The actual stock can be changed at any time. It's possible that the stock may run out after the order has been made.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. If you haven't received your item within 30 days, we're unable to offer either a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a refund your item must be in good condition and in the same condition as you received it in. It must also be returned in the original packaging.
